Products used in our treatments contain ingredients sourced in Wales. All of our treatments are bespoke to The Moat and have been painstakingly designed with our guests in mind. Nowhere else in the world will you find our luxurious body scrubs made with the finest local Welsh sea salt…….and did you know that honey can help skin absorb and retain moisture better than any expensive anti-aging alternative? We did! That’s why we use honey sourced from within a 5-mile radius of the castle in several of our treatments to give your skin a really sweet treat.

You're always guaranteed the very best treatment at The Moat because every one of our hand-picked therapists is expertly trained in all our highly effective suite of treatments.

Treatments are delivered using products exclusively made for The Moat, all of which comprise local Welsh ingredients known for their therapeutic qualities such as Anglesey sea salts, seaweed, herbs and sweet honey sourced from within a 5 mile radius of the castle. Therapies range from oxygenating ginger wraps and Argan Oil and green tea body polish scrubs to The Moat hot stone massage and gold luxury facials. All one hour treatments include a welcome slipper ceremony which is based on traditional royal customs.

The Moat will also serve a choice of tasty freshly-made food which guests can enjoy while they relax wrapped up in a warm rug after a soak or treatment. When you book in on the outdoor experience, why do't you ask about the outdoor BBQ and taste our cullinary skills.

As you would expect from a spa that likes to do things differently, we've made treatment bookings flexible too. You don't have to decide in advance which treatment you'd like. If you've had a long drive you might prefer a massage instead of a facial - no problem - just advance book by the hour and decide which treat you're in the mood for when you arrive.
